- Project Description: Our team provides housekeeping and related environmental infection control services within the National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center (NIH CC) — the federal research hospital located in Bethesda MD. The NIH CC is located in a complex of connected but separate buildings referred to collectively as Building 10. Performance includes maintaining a sanitation appropriate level of cleaning and disinfecting in high-risk patient care areas and satisfactory facility conditions that sustains a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Through clinical research, clinician-investigators translate laboratory discoveries into better treatments, therapies and interventions to improve the nation’s health. The hospital consists of 200 inpatient beds, 93-day hospital stations, 15 outpatient clinics, diagnostic and treatment areas, and public waiting areas. Adjacent to the hospital are research laboratories. Hospital departments and services are housed in three (3) of the intra-connected buildings that include the Warren G. Magnuson Clinical Center, the Ambulatory Care Research Facility, and the Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center (Hatfield Center).
